<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in the number of components (number of current sensors). <P>SOLUTION: The power storage system comprises: a first current sensor which is provided in a power storage device for charging/discharging electricity and detects charge/discharge current of the power storage device; a second current sensor which is provided in a charger for supplying power from an external power source to the power storage device and detects an external charging current outputted to the power storage device from the charger; and a controller which detects an abnormality in the current sensor. The controller compares detection values in the first and second current sensors to detect an abnormality in the current sensor. It is unnecessary to provide a plurality of current sensors in the power storage device in order to detect an abnormality in the current sensor, and the number of components can be reduced, thereby reducing costs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
