1. An ink composition comprising:
a coloring material; 1,2-pentanediol with a content in the range of more than 0% to less than 20% by mass; 1,2-hexanediol; and an alkyl polyol having a normal boiling point in the range of 190 C to 250 C, wherein the alkyl polyol is selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, 1,2-ethanediol, 1,2-propanediol, 2-methylpentane-2,4-diol, dibutylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,3-butanediol, 1,3-propanediol, 3-methyl-1,3-butanediol, 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol, 2-ethyl-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 1,4-butanediol, 2-methyl-2-propyl-1,3-propanediol, dipropylene glycol, 2-ethyl-1,3-hexanediol, 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol, and 1,6-hexanediol. |
