A method for use in a radio communication system is provided. The radio communication system includes a first radio base station, a second radio base station that communicates with the first radio base station, a relay station which communicates with the second radio base station via the first radio base station, and a mobile station. The method includes transmitting a request, by the second radio base station, for requesting the first radio base station to communicate with the relay station for the second radio base station. The method further includes communicating, by the requested first radio base station, with the relay station for the second radio base station and transmitting a communication result to the second radio base station.
