1. A method of performing wireless communication in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) configured for multi-radio access technology (RAT) operation, the method comprising:
the WTRU wirelessly communicating information on a first operating frequency for a primary cell according to a primary RAT; the WTRU wirelessly communicating information on a second operating frequency for one or more secondary cells according to a secondary RAT; the WTRU establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection in the primary RAT using a primary RRC instance; the WTRU receiving a configuration for at least one of the one or more secondary cells of the secondary RAT over the RRC connection; the WTRU configuring radio resources for the secondary RAT using a secondary RRC instance; the WTRU transmitting and receiving PDUs over the RRC connection, each of the PDUs having a signaling radio bearer identifier (SRB_ID); and the WTRU determining the received PDU is applicable to the secondary RAT based on the SRB_ID. |
