摘要 In a liquid crystal display device including a backlight unit that irradiates the entire image formation region with light from light emitting diodes disposed in a concentrated manner, in order to reduce warpage of a reflection sheet to obtain uniform illumination, provided is a liquid crystal display device (1), including: a liquid crystal panel (3); a reflection sheet (6), which is disposed on a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel (3) and is curved so as to have a concave surface facing the liquid crystal panel (3); a light emitting diode substrate on which a plurality of light emitting diodes (14) are disposed along a horizontal direction; and a support (21) for fixing the reflection sheet (6) at a curved portion of the reflection sheet (6).

A liquid crystal display device, comprising: a liquid crystal panel; a reflection sheet, which is disposed on a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel and, as viewed in vertical cross section, comprises a flat portion and curved portions extending from a periphery of the flat portion toward the liquid crystal panel so as to define a single concave surface facing the liquid crystal panel, a periphery of the concave surface substantially corresponding to a periphery of the liquid crystal panel; a light emitting diode substrate on which a plurality of light emitting diodes are disposed along a horizontal direction; a support for supporting the reflection sheet at at least one of the curved portions of the reflection sheet, at a position intermediate the flat portion and the periphery of the concave surface; and a radiator plate, having a higher thermal conductivity than that of the light emitting diode substrate, mounted to the flat section of the reflector plate.
