A method for inserting a wire into a contact pin utilizes a wire insertion tool. The wire insertion tool includes a first division block having a first wire insertion guide ditch forming plane where a first wire insertion guide ditch has been formed, a second division block having a second wire insertion guide ditch forming plane where a second wire insertion guide ditch has been formed, and a division block positioning guide. When the first and second division blocks are fitted together by fitting the first and second wire insertion guide ditch forming planes, the first and second wire insertion guide ditches form a wire insertion guide hole. The division block positioning guide guides one of the blocks linearly to the other block such that these planes approach each other or separate from each other.

1. A wire inserting method for a wire insertion tool, said wire insertion tool comprising:
a first division block having a first wire insertion guide ditch forming plane on which a first wire insertion guide ditch has been formed; a second division block having a second wire insertion guide ditch forming plane on which a second wire insertion guide ditch has been formed; and a division block positioning guide configured to guide one of said first division block and said second division block linearly to another of said first division block and said second division block such that said first wire insertion guide ditch forming plane and said second wire insertion guide ditch forming plane approach each other or separate from each other, said wire inserting method comprising: forming a coupling unit from said first division block and said second division block such that said first wire insertion guide ditch forming plane and said second wire insertion guide ditch forming plane approach and fit to each other; inserting a contact pin from one side into a wire insertion guide hole which is formed from said first wire insertion guide ditch and said second wire insertion guide ditch, said wire insertion guide hole passing through said coupling unit from said one side to another side; inserting a wire into said contact pin from said other side through said wire insertion guide hole; separating said first division block and said second division block such that a space is formed between said first wire insertion guide ditch forming plane and said second wire insertion guide ditch forming plane; and drawing out said wire together with said contact pin from said space between said first division block and said second division block.
