1. An electronic device comprising:
a printed circuit board (PCB) comprising a first conductive element and having a first side opposite a second side; a wall disposed on the first side of the PCB and having a channel through the wall to receive a second conductive element of an external component; and a connector at least partially connected to the printed circuit board, the connector configured to provide electrical connectivity between the first conductive element and the second conductive element in an event of the external component being connected to the electronic device, the connector comprising:
an electrically conductive base configured to provide a conductive path between the first conductive element and the second conductive element in the event of the external electric component being connected to the electronic device;a spring structure coupled between the base and a supporting structure disposed on the second side of the PCB, the spring structure configured to provide a compressive force at least in part upon the base in the event the external electric component being connected to the electronic device; anda barrel configured to house the spring structure.
