METHOD AND MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLEXED INPUT/OUTPUT VOTING USING COMMUNICATION PERIOD SYNCHRONIZATION

The present invention suggests a method to vote the input/output of multiplexing by using communications cycle synchronization and a multiplexing control system with the same. The multiplexing control system of the present invention includes: multiple controllers and an input/output terminal/voter module. A communications module of each of the controllers generates a sync signal according to a predetermined communications cycle, the sync signal generated as the controller of the multiplexing control system is received from another controller of the multiplexing control system, and a communications start timing of the other controller is determined based on the sync signal. The input/output terminal/voter module votes a control output value from each of the controllers or a control input value to each of the controllers at the determined communications start timing. Through the present invention, an input/output voting error, caused by discordance between input/output timings of the controllers, is minimized when the multiplexing control system votes the input/output of multiplexing.
