<p>The method involves selecting an application e.g. internet navigator, from applications (5a-5c) and broadcasting advertising content (4) through the selected application. An advertising site is localized in the selected application by a localizing unit. The content of the advertising site is modified based on the content of the portable electronic device i.e. chip card (1), by a modifying unit. An advertising link is inserted towards the content of the portable electronic device at zones of a man-machine interface of the selected applications. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for updating an advertising content stored in a portable electronic device (2) a portable electronic device.</p> |
