The present invention relates to an apparatus for opening/closing a door. The apparatus comprises: a door horizontally arranged, and opened and closed by rotating around one side; and an adjustment rod arranged on the upper part or the lower part of the door, wherein the adjustment rod has one end counter balancing the weight of the door when the door is open. The apparatus for opening/closing a door is provided to allow a worker to open with less force by moving a ballast to the upper part of the adjustment rod to make the weight of the ballast and the adjustment rod equal to that of the door when the worker opens the door, wherein the opened door maintains the angle of 90 degrees to the ground to enable a passenger to recognize the opened door.
