PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form deeply in a short time, a hard layer bearing fatigue strength in the depth direction from the steel surface.SOLUTION: In a heat treatment method of a steel, a soft nitriding treatment (preferably, at 500-670°C for 1-12 hours) is applied to the steel to form a nitride layer having the thickness of 10-50 μm on the surface, and then the steel is heated at 1,000-1,200°C for 30-120 minutes. |
