PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire preventive structure of a window with improved fire retardant property capable of preventing spread of fire due to increase of gap between the meeting stiles of outer and inner windows even when a non-fire retardant property crescent is used in a double sliding window or a double hung window.SOLUTION: In a window arranged as a double sliding window or a double hung window, a heat-foam material 27 is provided on the opposing surfaces of a meeting stile 8 of an inner window 5 and a meeting stile 13 of an outer window 6. The heat-foam material 27 foams as a foaming member 27a by the heat at fire occurrence to close a gap between the meeting stiles 8 and 13. |
