PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear processing machine and an internal gear processing method which removes an inclined angle produced on a cutter rotation shaft by using the conventional constitution and can perform high-accuracy processing.SOLUTION: In an internal gear processing machine, a pinion cutter 17 and a work W are engaged with each other and are synchronized and rotated, at the same time, cutting and feed is given to the pinion cutter 17 and, thereby, the work W is subjected to gear cutting by the pinion cutter 17. Therein, prior to gear cutting processing, the pinion cutter 17 is arranged such that a cutter rotation shaft B performs parallel movement in XY-plane in accordance with the inclination angle &phgr; of the cutter rotation shaft B and a mating position with the work W on the pinion cutter 17 is shifted in the circumferential direction. |
