PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively construct a system for imaging a circular image with high resolution.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 comprises: a beam splitter 110 for splitting a beam into two; and imaging devices (121 and 122) which respectively receive the two beams split by the beam splitter 110 and image the beams. The two imaging devices (121 and 122) operate synchronously and the centers of the respective imaging devices (121 and 122) are deviated from the center of the light axis of the beam so that joining the light-receiving ranges of the two imaging devices (121 and 122) generates nearly a square.
