<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet coating device capable of coating a coating liquid as droplets by using a needle for coating with respect to a continuous web base material.SOLUTION: A droplet coating device includes: a back-up roll for sending out a web base material in a rotation direction while supporting a rear surface of the continuous web base material; a coating liquid storage part which is arranged so as to face a surface side of the web base material supported by the back-up roll, in which a coating liquid is stored and in which a micropore is formed having the size from which the coating liquid does not flow out by self-weight due to surface tension of the coating liquid on a bottom surface; a needle for coating which is arranged in a position above the micropore of the coating liquid storage part, and which can move between a state where the coating liquid is attached to a tip, and a state where the micropore is penetrated; and a needle for coating driving part for moving the needle for coating so as to bring the coating liquid attached to the tip of the needle for coating into contact as droplets with respect to the web base material on the back-up roll.</p> |
