PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element, a defogger, a vehicle window, and a method for manufacturing the planar heating element, capable of reducing the dispersion of an exothermic amount caused by a surface shape.SOLUTION: The planar heating element includes a resin base material 1, a conductive mesh 2 disposed on the resin base material 1, and power supply units 3 connected to the conductive mesh 2. The conductive mesh 2 includes a plurality of first conductive wires 21, extending with gaps between each other, and a plurality of second conductive wires 22 extending with gaps between each other, in which the first conductive wires 21 intersect with the second conductive wires 22 in a manner to form openings 24. The power supply units 3 are disposed on both ends of the conductive mesh 2 so as to enable current flow in the first conductive wires 21 and the second conductive wires 22. |
