<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sorting system capable of preventing fault measurement in weight sorting inspection.SOLUTION: An article sorting system includes: storage means storing therein sorting request information and information on the number of articles to be stored in boxes; a plurality of collection containers into each of which the articles are loaded for every sorting destination; a plurality of fronts in which the article collection containers are installed to correspond to the respective sorting destinations; management means generating sorting instruction information by allocating the corresponding front to each sorting destination and calculating the number of articles to be loaded into the collection container installed in each allocated front; and instruction means instructing sorting inspection of the articles to be loaded for every front on the basis of the sorting instruction information. The management means controls the instruction means to instruct sorting based on weight sorting inspection if the number of articles to be loaded into the collection container installed in each front is less than the number of articles stored in the boxes, and controls the instruction means to instruct sorting inspection based on manual sorting inspection if the number of articles to be loaded in the article collection container in the front exceeds the number of articles to be stored in the boxes.</p> |
