<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that a state of contact with an outer circumferential surface of a grinding wheel has no change even if one end surface of a rotary electrode wears, and to prevent the outer circumferential surface of the grinding wheel from being formed inclined so as to improve surface accuracy.SOLUTION: A discharge truing device including a cylindrical rotary electrode 20 provided rotatable about an axis, is configured so that a conductive grinding wheel H provided rotatable about a central axis is made to rotate and the rotary electrode 20 is made to rotate, a higher position R that is a circumferential part of one end surface 24 of the rotating rotary electrode 20 is contacted with an outer circumferential surface Ha of the grinding wheel H, the outer circumferential surface Ha of the grinding wheel H is subjected to truing and dressing by means of electrical discharge, the rotary electrode 20 is supported so as to be movable forward and backward axially, and the rotary electrode 20 is energized in a forward direction in a period of truing and dressing by the rotary electrode 20. Furthermore, the one end surface 24 of the rotary electrode 20 is formed inclined in proportion to a conical surface of a cone centering around the axis of the rotary electrode 20.</p> |
