<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniquely specify, when analyzing the grounding surface of a tire by using a grounding surface image, grooves such as main grooves in the circumferential direction in a short time to evaluate the grounding surface.SOLUTION: A method of analyzing the grounding surface of a tire by using a grounding surface image includes the steps of: acquiring a grounding surface image, which is a digital image of the grounding surface of a tire; determining, by using the acquired grounding surface image as an analysis object image, the total grounding area including the actual grounding area representing a grounding portion of a tread part in the analysis object image and an area of the grooves of the tread part of the tire in addition to the actual grounding area; specifying the groove part in the total grounding area by using a plurality of straight lines including pixel columns extending linearly in a pixel arrangement direction in the analysis object image, so as to calculate the feature amount of the grooves in the analysis object image, and thereby evaluating the ground surface.</p> |
