<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal capable of achieving highly reliable locking with a simple structure, in a terminal formed of a planar metallic material used for electrical connection of an electronic component, e.g., a socket or connector.SOLUTION: A terminal 130 includes a terminal lance 134 for locking to the housing of an electronic component, and is provided with a through hole 135 for forming a portion 136, bending easier than the terminal lance 134, near the terminal lance 134. Consequently, when installing the terminal 130 in the housing, an excessive force is not applied to the terminal lance 134, and deformation of the terminal lance 134 is prevented. Consequently, falling off of the terminal 130 from the electronic component can be prevented.</p> |
