<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector capable of restraining positional deviation of a fiber end face without upsizing a housing.SOLUTION: An optical sub-harness, which is an optical connector, comprises: an inner ferrule 15 in which a coated optical fiber 25 is fixed in an optical fiber retaining hole 37 of a rear side thereof, in which a fiber tip end face of an optical fiber strand 31 with a protection covering 33 removed is inserted into a strand insertion hole 39 of a front side thereof and disposed on a tip end thereof, and in which a rear portion thereof is housed in a ferrule reception hole formed in a front part of a caulking sleeve; a jig insertion hole 41, drilled in the ferrule 15 in a direction orthogonal to the optical fiber retaining hole 37, in which a bend-part housing space 43 is formed at a portion thereof crossing the optical fiber retaining hole 37; a lens ferrule 17 disposed coaxially with an optical axis of the coated optical fiber 25 between the inner ferrule 15 and a housing 19 and fixed at the tip end of the inner ferrule 15; and a bend part 51 of the optical fiber strand 31 disposed in the bend-part housing space 43.</p> |
