<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type auxiliary step for a vehicle, for eliminating inconvenience by scooping-up of snow and an obstacle, without requiring surplus upper power when overhanging a footboard, by projecting to the lower front of a vehicle step from such a height position, by setting the lowest point on a circular arc track of the footboard as a footboard overhang height position.SOLUTION: The upper end of a pair of link arms 2 and 3 of the longitudinally parallel and same length corresponding to a vehicle width direction, is longitudinally rockably pivoted to a lower end of the vehicle step S, and the respective link arms 2 and 3 are bilaterally symmetrically arranged at a predetermined interval, and a footboard unit 4 is pivoted to the lower end between the left-right link arms 2 and 3, and thereby, the footboard unit 4 is put just under the vehicle step S, and is set so as to reciprocatably parallely move between an upper footboard upper limit storage position X and a footboard overhang height position Y for vertically suspending the link arms 2 and 3, and the footboard unit 4 is provided with a footboard 5 extrudable-retreatable to a footboard overhang position Z of the lower front of the vehicle step S in the footboard overhang height position Y so as to freely advance-retreat.</p> |
