<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance device which inhibits a wiper member from being pressed against a head unnecessarily and thereby being worn and damaged while securing a wiping force applied when the wiper member wipes the head.SOLUTION: A maintenance device includes: a wiper member 73; and a holding part which holds the wiper member. The holding part includes: a restriction member 771 which restricts displacement of the wiper member after a head 6 injecting a liquid and the wiper member relatively come close to each other and make contact; and a release mechanism 772 which releases the restriction placed on the displacement of the wiper member by the restriction member.</p> |
