PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise supporting device for comparing the running paces of individual turns with a simple construction, in the case of running on an identical course.SOLUTION: An exercise supporting device 1 is mounted either on the body of a user circulating an identical course or on a tool for circulating integrally with said user on the course. This exercise supporting device 1 comprises: an angular velocity sensor 11 for detecting the angular velocity of a rotational motion at the time when the direction of the exercise supporting device 1 changes in the longitudinal direction; a measuring section 12 for measuring the lapse time; a running data storage table 151 for storing and memorizing the detection result by the angular velocity sensor 11, for every lapse time periods measured by the measuring section 12; and a control section 18 for acquiring, on the basis of the data stored in the running data storage table 151, the time period, which is required for the user to run a predetermined section in a course for each of individual turns, as a running time, and for comparing the running times for the individual turns. |
