PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizer capable of reflecting prosody information on a phrase containing a word in a language dictionary even if reading information on the word registered in the language dictionary is corrected.SOLUTION: A voice synthesizer 1 includes: a search unit 21 that detects a prosody correction target phrase containing a word on which reading information is corrected; a target range determination unit 22 that sets a target range by coupling the detected prosody correction target phrase to a character string continuous thereto when prosody information on the prosody correction target phrase is corrected; a stress phrase determination unit 23 that determines at least a part of the prosody correction target phrase and a stress phrase containing the word on which the reading information is corrected as a prosody succession stress phrase within the target range; a correction unit 25 that corrects an intermediate notation corresponding to the prosody succession stress phrase out of intermediate notations obtained by performing a language analysis on the target range using a language dictionary including the corrected reading information on the word on the basis of the prosody information on the prosody succession stress phrase registered in the language dictionary; and an update unit 26 that updates the language dictionary on the basis of the corrected intermediate notation.
