PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism which suppresses rattling of a lid with respect to a support body.SOLUTION: A lock mechanism 5 of a glove box 1 having a lid 4 closing an opening 2 of an instrument panel 3 includes: a lock hole which is provided in the instrument panel 3; a lock pin 28 which is displaceably supported between a first position and a second position, is locked in the lock hole at the first position, is expandable and contractible, and is energized by a pin energizing member in an expanded state; a slider 27 which is provided in the lid 4 and when the lid 4 exists in the vicinity of a closed position, abuts on an inclined surface 18A to displace the lock pin 28 to the first position; an operation part 22 which is displaceably provided in the lid 4; and a link member 23 which is displaced according to the displacement of the operation part 22 and shortens a lock member located at the first position against an energizing force of a pin energizing member to separate the lock member from the lock hole. |
