PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation simulation device configured to optimize a location of an output device.SOLUTION: An installation simulation device includes: a move information acquisition unit 353 which acquires moving time of users A-R who move from desks Aa-Ra on which an information processing apparatus 10 is installed, to an image forming apparatus 20, regarding a plurality of candidate positions P1-P12 where the image forming apparatus 20 can be installed; an output sheet quantity acquisition unit 354 which acquires the number of sheets output by each of the users A-R in the image forming apparatus 20 in at least one of the candidate positions P1-P12; and an installation position presentation unit 356 which presents a candidate position P1-P12 having the minimum moving cost, which is a sum of user moving costs obtained by multiplying the moving time of the users A-R and the number of output sheets with respect to the candidate positions P1-P12, as a recommended installation position. |
