PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform collation processing in a one-to-N authentication with a collation target limited to registration data for which an authentication with input data is possibly successful.SOLUTION: Provided is an authentication method including: receiving, by a computer, input data as an authentication target; and executing, by the computer, processing of collation of registration data having a second feature quantity not less than a threshold with respect to a first feature of the input data used to determine whether an authentication is successful with the input data. |
