<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device comprising a cassette attachable to/detachable from a device main body, which can solve the problem that paper remains in the device main body when drawing out the cassette while reducing cost increase.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a paper cassette 4 for storing a recording paper P; a separation roller 10 provided in the paper cassette 4; a second feeding roller 17 that nips the recording paper P between the separation roller 10 and the roller 17 and feeds by rotation the recording paper P, with the paper cassette 4 mounted; and power transmitting means 21 that transmits driving force of a motor 20 to the second feeding roller 17. The power transmitting means 21 has play that at the time of stoppage of the motor 20 allows the second feeding roller 17 to rotate in a direction opposite to a rotation direction when the second feeding roller 17 feeds the recording paper.</p> |
