<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece carrier device capable of carrying a large workpiece smoothly continuously without using large cost to an existing carrier device.SOLUTION: A workpiece carrier device 100 for horizontally continuously carrying plural tabular workpieces comprises: plural conveyors 10, 20, 30 adjacently disposed so as to receive and transport the workpiece W from an upstream side to a downstream side; and a partial retreat mechanism 40 for partially retreating a tip end side of the workpiece W being carried on the upstream side conveyor 20 to an upper space of the downstream side conveyor 30 adjacent to the conveyor 20.</p> |
