METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A LATTICE GIRDER AND APPARATUS TO PERFORM SUCH METHOD

The method involves casting a fluid concrete in molds (1-4) before equipping tight ropes (C) along a passive reinforcement (11) in a form of a metallic lattice and a pre-stressed concrete heel. A base of the reinforcement is dipped in a concrete bath by maintaining the base in a position during setting of the concrete. A reinforcement portion to be drowned in the bath is equipped with a spacer assembly i.e. stainless steel cord (17), to center and support the reinforcement with respect to an internal surface of the molds before immersing the reinforcement in the bath. An independent claim is also included for a lattice girder fabricating equipment for implementing a lattice girder fabricating method.
