PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect any wire disconnection.SOLUTION: A battery pack module comprises a plurality of battery cells connected in series, a plurality of resistors, a multiplexer, a voltage measuring unit, a plurality of trouble detecting switches and a control unit. Each of the plurality of resistors has one end connected to the positive or negative pole of the corresponding battery cell. Each of the plurality of trouble detecting switches is connected between two nodes of the positive and negative poles of the corresponding battery cell. The control unit detects wire disconnection on the basis of a first voltage between two nodes connected to one or the other of the two trouble detecting switches connected to either node when one of the trouble detecting switches is turned off and a second voltage between the two nodes from which the first voltage is detected when the other trouble detecting switch is turned off. |
