PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection device capable of highly accurately performing the position detection of an imaging lens.SOLUTION: The position detection device includes a rotation shaft 3 fixed to a gear 4 rotated in conjunction with the movement of a lens, a rotation body 8 fixed to the rotation shaft 3, a magnetization part 6a provided in one end surface in the axial direction of the rotation shaft 3, of the rotation body 8, a magnetic detection element 10 facing the magnetization part 6a, a magnetization part 5a provided in the side surface of the rotation body 8 along the circumferential direction of the rotation body 8, and a magnetic detection element 9 facing the magnetization part 5a. The rotation body 8 comprises a rotation body 5 fitted to the rotation shaft 3 and a rotation body 6 fitted to the rotation body 5. The magnetization part 5a is provided in the rotation body 5. The magnetization part 6a is provided in the rotation body 6. A magnetic shield 7 is provided between the rotation body 6 and the rotation body 5 and in the side surface of the rotation body 6. |
