PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle sensor having a narrow pulse interval (a pulse cycle) and outputting a signal having suppressed signal deformation, and a rotation angle detection system including the same.SOLUTION: A rotation angle sensor detects a rotation angle of a rotor (400) formed by alternately coupling first members (410) with a second member (420) in a rotation direction so as to periodically vary a rotation magnetic flux and has a plurality of magnetoelectric transducers (21 to 24) arranged at a regular interval in the rotation direction. An adjacent angle formed of two lines connecting each of two adjacent magnetoelectric transducers with the rotation center (RC) of the rotor is equal to a value &thetas;/n obtained by dividing the adjacent angle &thetas; by a natural number n, when n is a natural number of 2 or more, and an adjacent angle formed of two lines connecting each of two first members adjacent through the second member with the rotation center is &thetas;. |
