<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell which has high discharge capacity, power and voltage by transmitting electrons, generated in the negative electrode, efficiently to a positive electrode, and can be manufactured by a simple process at a low cost by using VBparticles of micrometer order without pulverizing.SOLUTION: An air cell 100 includes a negative electrode 110 containing a negative electrode active material containing at least diboride vanadium and having an average particle size of 0.5-800μm, and a first conductive material having an average particle size less than that of the negative electrode active material, a positive electrode 130 where oxygen is the positive electrode active material, and an electrolyte 150 for conducting hydroxide ions between the negative electrode 110 and positive electrode 130.</p> |
