PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of making voltage (voltages by parasitic capacitance) of inactive common lines uniform or nearly uniform even if a rectifying device has irregular voltage drops.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a plurality of common lines; a plurality of drive lines; a plurality of light-emitting elements; a source driver; and a sink driver, and further includes: an electric discharge device connected to the common lines and reducing voltages of the connected common lines; a discharge restriction device imposing restrictions on the electric discharge device so that the electric discharge device does not reduce the voltages of the connected common lines to be below a predetermined value; and a rectifying device connected between the electric discharge device and the discharge restriction device, and the common lines, carrying a current from the common lines to the electric discharge device and the discharge restriction device while not carrying the current from the electric discharge device and the discharge restriction device to the common lines. |
