PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence emission device 100, as a light source device, that can reliably detect damage and abnormality of a fluorescent body and stop a laser light source emitting excitation light.SOLUTION: A fluorescence emission device 100 has a conductive thin wire film 105 having a conductive thin wire arranged thereon and formed on the rear surface of a fluorescent body plate 101 via a total reflection mirror layer 102 or a dichroic mirror layer on the rear surface of the fluorescent body plate 101; causes the total reflection mirror layer 102 or the dichroic mirror layer to emit fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent body plate 101 to the front side of the fluorescent body plate 101; and detects breakage of the conductive thin wire, and thereby detects damage to the fluorescent body plate 101. |
