PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film type packaging material for a cell with improved formability.SOLUTION: The packaging material for a cell comprises a laminate including at least a base layer 1, an adhesion layer 2, a barrier layer, and a sealant layer 4, in this order. The adhesion layer 2 comprises a thermosetting resin and reactive resin beads, in which the reactive resin beads are urethane resin beads or acrylic resin beads having a functional group; the reactive resin beads have a refractive index of 1.3 to 1.8; and the thermosetting resin is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of an epoxy resin, amino resin, acrylic resin, urethane resin, phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester resin, and alkyd resin.
