<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light quantity control device capable of holding a target gradation characteristic of a formation image even if light emission quantity of a light emitting element changes.SOLUTION: A variable resistor 302R in a snubber circuit 302 of a light quantity control device is configured in a manner in which ON/OFF of four resistors R1-R4 are switchable with switches SW1R-SW4R. In regards to switching of ON/OFF of the switches SW1R-SW4R, CPU supplies R setting corresponding to light emission quantity of a light emitting element to a decoder DECR, and the decoder DECR performs this based on the R setting. A variable capacitor 302C is configured in a manner in which ON/OFF of four capacitors C1-C4 are switchable by switches SW1C-SW4C. ON/OFF of the switches SW1C-SW4C are performed by a decoder DECC based on C setting, as with ON/OFF of the switches SW1R-SW4R.</p> |
