<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for pressing and storing radioactive metal waste. The apparatus for pressing and storing the radioactive metal waste includes a waste receiving unit which, a first driving unit which presses the waste filled in the waste receiving unit, a second driving unit which secondly presses the waste, a third driving unit which thirdly presses the waste, a gate lifting unit which lifts a lifting plate, an output unit which outputs the pressed waste to the outside of the waste receiving unit through a gate, and a transfer unit. The present invention maximally reduces the number of drums according to the waste processing by improving a filling rate and efficiently processes the metal waste.</p> |
