PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of an antenna characteristic caused by a diffraction wave generated at an end part of a substrate having an antenna element formed thereon.SOLUTION: The antenna device includes: the substrate; a pair of antenna elements disposed on the substrate; and a choke section formed between the substrate end part and the pair of antenna elements in the array direction of the pair of antenna elements. The choke section includes a recess formed to extend to a direction substantially orthogonal to the array direction of the pair antenna elements.
