The present invention relates to a screwdriver bit and a method of manufacturing the screwdriver bit. According to the present invention, the method comprises: preparing a metal bar; forming a circular cone shape slope on an upper perimeter of the metal bar through a cutting process; heating the circular cone shape slope using a torch, wherein the circular cone shape slope is heated over a recrystallization temperature of the metal bar; inserting the metal bar into a lower mold from an opposite end, wherein an installation groove with a closed bottom and a cross-section corresponding to a cross-section of the metal bar is formed, wherein a portion of a top of the circular cone shape slope is exposed from the lower mold; forming a cross-shaped wing portion and a flat portion around a bottom of the cross-shaped wing portion using a pair of upper molds to press-mold the circular cone shape slope from both sides, wherein the upper molds are separated from each other with the metal bar between them to come in contact with a top of the lower mold; separating the upper mold and cutting an extruded portion between the upper molds; and finishing a tip of the wing portion. The cross-shaped wing portion is formed by being pressed in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the metal bar, and a remaining portion is cut. Therefore, a dimension of a longitudinal direction of the metal bar can accurately be adjusted, and a compact driver bit be manufactured. |
