PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that exhibits high handling stability and further is almost free of deterioration in straight-travelling stability and uniformity.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises a belt layer and a belt reinforcing layer 5 having cords 50 arranged, at an outer periphery of the belt layer or between the belt layer and a carcass layer, along a tire circumference direction, where a mounting direction relative to a vehicle is designated. The belt reinforcing layer 5 has an inner shoulder region IS, an inner center region IC, an outer center region OC and an outer shoulder region OS successively from inside toward outside when being mounted on the vehicle. Rigidity in a circumference direction, in the outer shoulder region OS, of the belt reinforcing layer 5 is higher than in the inner shoulder region IS and further the rigidity thereof in the inner center region IC is higher than in the outer center region OC. |
