PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a power steering device and an on-vehicle apparatus which can improve abnormality detection precision of state quantity detection means.SOLUTION: A control device for an electric power steering device and an on-vehicle apparatus, which has a plurality of state quantity detection means, performs abnormality detection of the state quantity detection means by comparing detection signals of the state quantity detection means provided in a redundant system; and determines signal values having the largest number of signals showing similar signals as normal values by comparing the detection signals of the state quantity detection means with signals to be complied with the same unit system signals by calculation or the like performed by the other state quantity detection means.
