PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging device performing AD conversion operation depending on a case when AD converting an output of an amplifier for inverse amplification and a case when AD converting by bypassing the amplifier.SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: a pixel section 102 having a plurality of pixels 101 arranged in row and column directions; a column output line 103 for outputting a pixel signal from the pixel section; a column amplifier circuit 105 for inversely amplifying the pixel signal from the column output line; a bypass circuit 106 for bypassing the column amplifier circuit; a controller 108 for outputting a control signal to control the operation mode of an AD converter 107; and an AD converter for AD converting in a first mode the output signal from the column amplifier circuit and AD converting in a second mode the bypassed pixel signal of the column output line, and for changing the first mode or the second mode by the control signal from the controller. |
