PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device which protects a thermal caulking part for fixing a cover to a resin base from an external force and prevents water accumulation in the thermal caulking part.SOLUTION: A resin base 3 includes a boss 3b. A cover 2 includes a hole Hinto which the boss 3b is inserted. An electronic component is covered by the resin base 3 and the cover 2. A thermal caulking part 3a is formed at an end part of the boss 3b and fixes the cover 2 to the resin base 3. A protection wall 2b is provided at a periphery of the thermal caulking part 3a. A drainage port 10 drains a liquid penetrating into the protection wall 2b.
