<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity center variable device for an excavator that can effectively enhance excavating force.SOLUTION: A gravity center variable device 100 is mounted to an excavator 5. The excavator 5 includes: a self-propelled traveling body 6; a revolving body 7 installed on the traveling body 6, revolving relative to the traveling body 6 and having a counter weight 21 on the rear side; and an excavating body 10, installed on the front side of the revolving body 7, for performing an excavating operation. The gravity center variable device 100 includes: a movable weight 40 installed in the counter weight 21 and rotating relative to the counter weight 21; a tilt angle sensor 51 (excavating operation detection section) for detecting whether or not the excavating operation is being performed by the excavating body 10; and a controller 70 for controlling the rotation of the movable weight 40 when the excavating operation is detected by the tilt angle sensor 51.</p> |
