<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a nickel nanoparticle which uses no expensive precious metal catalyst, such as Pd, and enables production of a nickel nanoparticle of particle sizes of 100 nm or smaller reduced in impurities, at low costs.SOLUTION: A method of producing a nickel nanoparticle includes a step of preparing a precursor aqueous solution containing a nickel salt, an excessive amount of hydrazine, an alkali metal hydroxide and a water-soluble organic compound of a molecular weight of 100-5,000 having hydroxy groups and/or ether oxygen atoms and a step of heating the precursor aqueous solution, with stirring, at 40-150°C to reduce nickel ion, thereby forming a nickel nanoparticle.</p> |
