<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (meth)acrylic acid-based polymer composition which can be obtained by a polymerization reaction promoted efficiently, has high safety because no heavy metal is contained, has a reduced weight average molecular weight Mw of the (meth)acrylic acid-based polymer, and has reduced amount of residual monomer; and to provide a method for producing such a (meth)acrylic acid-based polymer composition.SOLUTION: The (meth)acrylic acid-based polymer composition comprises a structural unit derived from one or more kinds of (meth)acrylic acid-based monomer. The composition contains an ion of a Group 2 metal element in a content ratio of 0.1 ppm to 1000 ppm.</p> |
