<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, which can inhibit vapor from being caused in a high pressure pump by execution of a fuel cut.SOLUTION: A cylinder injection valve directly injects the fuel supplied from a high pressure fuel pump into a combustion chamber. An internal combustion engine is equipped with a valve timing variable mechanism which makes valve timing of an intake valve variable. A control device, when it is estimated that if executing a fuel cut, the fuel in the high pressure fuel pump becomes high temperature (step S310:YES), prohibits the fuel cut (step S330) and advances the valve timing of the intake valve (step S350).</p> |
